Description
One component cementitious mortar, based on cement, selected sands, resins and special additives.
Use
For bonding insulation panels generally directly on plaster, masonry or concrete.
Topcoat plaster for insulation panels, drowning an alkali-resistant certified fiberglass mesh.
Specific weight of the powder
Resistance to flexing after 28 days
Compressive strength after 28 days
Modulus of elasticity at 28 days
Adhesion to concrete after 28 days
Adhesion to concrete after 28 days in water
Steam diffusion resistance factor (EN 1015-19)
Coefficient of water absorption by capillarity (EN 1015-18)
Thermal conductivity (EN 1745)
Preparation of surfaces
The surfaces must be free of dust, dirt, grease, oil etc.
Preparation of the product
Add under stirring 20-25% of water and mix with a mechanical mixer or by hand until amalgam is smooth on desired consistency, dense and free of lumps.
Product Application
Used as adhesive: apply the R17 EXTRA mixed over the entire surface with a notched trowel. For panels of small dimensions, the application of R17 EXTRA can also be performed in spots by trowel. Proceed then with the mechanical fixing with appropriate bolts. Used as topcoat plaster: apply the R17 EXTRA at least 24 hours after the laying of panels in a uniform manner over the entire surface, and drown an alkali-resistant fiberglass network, by overlapping for at least 10 cm in the joints.
Estimated yield
Topcoat plaster: About 1.4 kg / m² per mm of thickness (recommended thickness 4mm in 2 layers)
Adhesive: with a uniform layer on the entire surface 4-6 kg / m². In spots 3-4 kg/m².
Shelf life
12 months in a cool, dry place (max 40 ° C)
